Wirz & Partners was founded in 2009 by Erik Wirz, based on extensive experience in the IT and consulting industries since 1997.
During that time in a variety of senior management and executive roles for leading companies including DEC, Compaq and HP, Erik lived and worked in the USA, UK Scandinavia, Spain, Germany and Switzerland. Handling the industry vertical for entertainment & media in EMEA at HP, later he was instrumental in a successful restructuring of a publicly traded mid-sized software company in Switzerland and Germany.
As vice-president for CA, the focus was on the Tier II business and ramping-up the consumer on-line business in EMEA. Swiss-based SAP consulting and integration expert, Cirrus Consulting, hired Erik as MD and member of the board, responsible for the German market. Cirrus was sold successfully in 2011 to Swisscom IT Services.
