  • In this non-operational capacity, you will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team - offering, gravitas, strategic insights, guidance on global strategy, organizational development, and market positioning. Your Profile

  • Board & C-Suite Experience: You have held senior executive or board positions within leading pharmaceutical or biotech organizations, ideally with a focus on anti-infectives or infectious diseases. 
  • Clinical Development, Commercialization & Market Access Leadership: You bring a proven track record of Clinical Development & launching and commercializing therapies in major markets (focus on EU), with deep expertise in pricing, reimbursement, and payer engagement.
  • Business leadership roles, including full P&L, (Licensing, M&A, strategic alliances with major Pharma Players)
  • Influential Network: You are well-connected with key decision-makers in healthcare, payers, and policy, particularly across Europe.
  • Digital Health & Data Insight: Experience with digital health, real-world evidence, or data-driven approaches in healthcare is highly valued.
  • Governance Excellence: You have a strong background in corporate governance, risk management, and have served on audit or strategy committees.
  • Personal Qualities: You are collaborative, pragmatic and motivated by the mission to address urgent global health challenges.

Ideal Backgrounds

  • C-level executives and board members from global pharmaceutical or biotech companies ideally with anti-infective portfolios.
  • Leaders in market access, or commercial strategy, or product development within innovative healthcare organizations.
  • Board directors or advisors with deep experience in infectious diseases, market access, or digital health transformation.
  • Senior partners or executives from PE/VC, M&A -or Strategy- Consulting Firms focusing on Pharma, Biotech and/or public health.

In einem ersten Gespräch geben wir Ihnen einen detaillierten Einblick in die Aufgabe, das Unternehmen, die Unternehmenskultur und Ihre Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten.

Nach einem ersten Austausch mit dem Partner (Headhunter) erhalten Sie weitere Informationen über die Aufgabe und die Erwartungen unseres Kunden. Bei Interesse senden Sie uns Ihre Unterlagen. Wirz & Partners erstellt eine Longlist, die mit dem Kunden besprochen wird. Aus dieser Longlist werden 4-6 Kandidaten für die Shortlist ausgewählt.

Zeit bis zum Feedback: 2-3 Wochen

Wenn sie es auf die Shortlist geschafft haben, geht es in die nächste Runde. Im Interview mit Wirz & Partners lernen wir Sie fachlich und persönlich kennen. Sie erhalten weitere Informationen über den Kunden, das Angebot, die Dienstleistungen, das Team sowie die KPIs. Wir erstellen auf Basis aller Gespräche und Unterlagen ein komplettes Dossier über Sie für den Kunden inkl. Executive Summary. Diese Unterlagen bilden die Basis für den strukturierten Interviewprozess mit dem Kunden. Wir bereiten Sie auf das Interview vor.

Dauer bis zum Interview beim Kunden: Bis zu zwei Wochen.

Im ersten Gespräch mit dem Kunden geht es darum, sich auf Augenhöhe kennenzulernen, das Bauchgefühl, die Menschen und die Unternehmenskultur zu erleben. Dieses Gespräch findet persönlich beim Kunden statt und dauert durchschnittlich eine Stunde.

Im zweiten Gespräch geht es um die Vertiefung der fachlichen Kompetenzen und Führungsthemen. In diesem Austausch lernt man das Team, die Strategie und die operativen Ziele kennen. 

Danach erhalten Sie einen Gehaltsvorschlag und einen Überblick über das gesamte Angebot.

Dauer bis zum Feedback: 1-2 Wochen

Im Anschluss an das Abschlussgespräch findet ein de-briefing mit Ihnen und dem Kunden statt.

Wir unterstützen Sie bei den Vertragsverhandlungen und klären weitere Details. Der Vertrag wird erstellt und wir begleiten das On-Boarding beim Kunden.
