Executive Office Overlooking Alpine Lake v2

Important Notice: Recruitment and Employment Scams

At Wirz & Partners, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality throughout the executive search and recruitment process.

We would like to alert candidates, clients and business partners to the risk of recruitment scams involving individuals who falsely claim to represent legitimate recruitment firms, including Wirz & Partners.

Fraudsters may misuse company names, logos, employee identities or job advertisements to create the impression of legitimate recruitment opportunities. Such activities may occur through fraudulent emails, fake LinkedIn profiles, messaging applications, social media platforms or misleading websites.

We encourage everyone who receives recruitment-related communications claiming to originate from Wirz & Partners to remain vigilant and verify their authenticity.

What Wirz & Partners Will Never Ask You to Do

As part of our legitimate recruitment and executive search activities, Wirz & Partners will never:

  • Request payment, recruitment fees or financial contributions from candidates in exchange for job opportunities, interviews or placements.
  • Ask candidates to transfer money, purchase gift cards, send cryptocurrency or make payments to third parties as part of the recruitment process.
  • Require candidates to pay for CV improvements, profile optimisation, training materials or other services as a condition of being considered for a position.
  • Request banking credentials, passwords or other highly sensitive financial information through unsolicited messages.
  • Guarantee employment or job placement in exchange for payment.

Our recruitment activities are conducted through professional communication channels, with appropriate consideration for confidentiality and the protection of personal information.

Warning Signs of Recruitment Fraud

Please exercise caution if you encounter any of the following:

  • Suspicious email addresses: Messages sent from unfamiliar or misleading email domains that appear to imitate Wirz & Partners.
  • Unverified identities: Individuals claiming to be our consultants or employees but whose identities cannot be independently confirmed.
  • Unusual communication methods: Unexpected messages through WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS or social media accounts requesting urgent action or sensitive information.
  • Requests for payment: Any demand for money, processing fees, registration fees or purchases connected to a recruitment opportunity.
  • Unrealistic job offers: Promises of exceptionally high salaries, guaranteed employment or immediate hiring without an appropriate selection process.
  • Pressure or urgency: Requests to respond immediately, avoid verification or keep communications confidential for suspicious reasons.
  • Suspicious links or attachments: Messages directing you to unfamiliar websites, requesting login credentials or asking you to download potentially unsafe files.

Please note that legitimate executive search consultants may contact potential candidates proactively, including through LinkedIn. An unsolicited professional approach is not, by itself, evidence of fraud. However, the identity of the sender and the authenticity of the opportunity should always be verifiable.

How to Protect Yourself

If you receive a suspicious recruitment-related communication:

  1. Verify the sender. Check email addresses, website domains and professional profiles carefully.
  2. Contact us independently. If you are uncertain about a communication claiming to originate from Wirz & Partners, contact us using the details published on our official website.
  3. Protect your information. Avoid sharing sensitive personal documents, banking information, passwords or identification details with unverified individuals.
  4. Avoid suspicious links. Do not open unexpected attachments or follow unfamiliar links until their legitimacy has been established.
  5. Do not make payments. Never transfer money in connection with an alleged recruitment opportunity without independently verifying the situation.
  6. Report suspicious activity. Report fraudulent accounts or communications to the relevant platform, such as LinkedIn, and consider notifying your local authorities.
